About Me
Building Better Systems That Help Businesses and Communities Thrive
My work has been shaped by a simple but important question: How can we help small businesses and communities build the systems they need to thrive?
Over the years, I have worked across banking, enterprise development, financial inclusion, digital capability, and applied research. These experiences have given me the opportunity to work alongside entrepreneurs, community organisations, development partners, financial institutions, and policymakers to address practical challenges facing small businesses.
Through this journey, I have seen that sustainable growth is not driven by ambition alone. It requires accessible financial systems, practical digital tools, informed decision-making, and strong community partnerships.
Today, I bring these experiences together to design practical, research-informed solutions that strengthen businesses, improve financial and digital inclusion, and support community development. My work focuses on translating evidence into action—developing approaches that are practical, inclusive, and grounded in real-world experience.
My Journey
From Finance to AI-Enabled Innovation
A career shaped by finance, enterprise development, digital inclusion and a growing focus on technology-enabled solutions for small businesses.
I began my career in audit and banking, building strong experience in financial controls, customer management, lending and SME finance.
My banking roles brought me increasingly closer to entrepreneurs and small business owners, helping me understand the everyday challenges they face around finance, records, customers and growth.
I expanded this work through business-development programmes, women-enterprise initiatives and practical financial-literacy and record-keeping support.
I began exploring how technology could make business support more accessible — including digital payments, WhatsApp-based training, digital business support and ecommerce initiatives.
My work later expanded into developing young people and Digital Business Assistants who could use practical digital tools to support small businesses.
Today, I am bringing these experiences together to develop AI-enabled solutions designed around the realities of non-tech-savvy small businesses.
Working directly with women entrepreneurs and grassroots businesses through enterprise development and financial inclusion initiatives.
Beneficiaries of our market womenbusiness development engagement- working with AWITA- Association Of Women in Trade and Agriculture
Facilitating stakeholder engagement between Fidelity Bank and SMEDAN, focused on scaling SMEs through strategic partnerships
The common thread throughout my journey has been helping small businesses overcome barriers to growth — first through finance and enterprise support, increasingly through digital technology, and now through AI-enabled solutions.
